(WOWT) - Before the Work Ethic Camp in McCook’s transition to an ICE detention facility, 193 inmates called the place home.
First Alert 6 Investigates has been looking into where they ended up . Of the 193 male inmates housed at the Work Ethic Camp on Aug. 20, 172 remain in custody at different facilities, according to new data compiled by our team.
The remaining inmates were released through various means : 16 were paroled, three were discharged from corrections, and two were placed on probation.

The 172 inmates still in custody were distributed across multiple facilities:
92 inmates were sent to Community Corrections in Lincoln
54 were transferred to the State Penitentiary
