STARK COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - A fire at the MAPS Air Museum late Monday destroyed Vietnam war artifacts.
The fire started in a MASH tent from the Vietnam era around 11:15 p.m. Monday.
MAPS Air Museum is an internationally known aviation museum located at 2260 International Pkwy. in North Canton.
The museum has more than 50 aircraft on display, but museum officials told 19 News none of them were damaged in the fire.
Besides the aircrafts, the museum also features educational displays, interactive exhibits, and historical archives.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
