BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) -- Give back to kids in the North Baton Rouge area this holiday season through the Angel Tree Program.
Gifts donated will make sure children have a special and exciting Christmas morning. The program is a partnership between the Charles R. Kelly Community Center and Councilman Darryl Hurst.
To choose an "angel," email agbennett@brla.gov or visit the Charles R. Kelly Community Center at 3535 Riley St., Baton Rouge. Gifts should be wrapped and labeled with the child's name and number. Gifts should be returned by Monday, Dec. 1.
The gift distribution will be scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, at the community center.
