A man was left with a scratched neck and a ripped t-shirt after a thug attempted to steal his chain near a Darlaston park.
The attempted robbery happened as the victim got into his car on Wolverhampton Street.
He was parked near the entrance to George Rose Park on Sunday, November 2, when the would-be thief struck shortly before 1pm.

The offender - who was wearing a baseball cap and a grey Hoodrich hoodie - leaned over a fence and attempted to rip a chain from his neck.
But he didn't manage to snatch the chain, and ran off, leaving the man with a broken chain and a bloodied scratch on the back of his neck and a ripped t-shirt.
