LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - A deputy with the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle traffic crash on Nov. 1.
The crash occurred off County Farm Road at the intersection of Parker Road, approximately one-tenth of a mile west of London.
The driver, Michael Cromer, reported that his steering wheel had locked up, causing the vehicle to collide with a guardrail and go over an embankment.
The investigation revealed that Cromer was driving on a DUI-suspended license and had several assorted pills believed to be Suboxone, Suboxone strips, and other prescription medications for which he did not have a prescription.
