Just when you thought the criminal justice system couldn't get any lower, it just did
Wab Kinew, Manitoba’s premier, was far from the only one revolted by what the majority of Supreme Court justices ruled.
But he was the one who said aloud what others were thinking.

On Monday, Kinew did not hold back his revulsion.
“Child sexual abuse images and video. This is like one of the worst things anyone can do.”
“Not only should you go to prison for a long time, they should bury you under the prison.”
“You shouldn’t get protective custody. They should put you into general population, if you know what I mean.”
Tough words from the NDP premier. He was “disgusted.” He called sex offenders “skinners” who should be dealt with by “the code on the streets.”
