Workforce initiatives provided by the Urban League of Middle Tennessee generated more than $15 million in reinvestment into the local community during the 2024-25 fiscal year, according to the organization’s 2025 Annual Report.

The civil rights economic empowerment organization r ecently held its 2025 annual meeting, at which it announced the Urban League assisted nearly 8,000 Middle Tennesseans with workforce training through its Advancing Workforce Equity program. More than 400 people secured employment through the program, with an average salary of $37,000.
