LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says crews will close the East End Tunnel in both directions on Monday to perform a routine inspection and maintenance of the tunnel.

Here's how it'll affect both sides of the river.

INDIANA SIDE:

I-265 East will be closed beyond Exit 11/International Drive in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

This will limit access to the East End Tunnel/Lewis and Clark Bridge to Louisville, Kentucky, on the below dates and times.

The suggested detour is to head back to I-265 West and take Exit 7B to I-65 South to the John F. Kennedy Memorial Bridge.

KENTUCKY SIDE:

KY 841 North (Gene Snyder Freeway) will be closed beyond Exit 37/Prospect (U.S. 42)
