Portion of Toll Gate Road in Huntsville closed for several hours due to broken utility pole

Huntsville Utilities says it has closed Toll Gate Road SE between Dill Street and Bankhead Parkway NE to replace a broken utility pole Monday.

The utility company says the estimated time of completion is noon.

Motorists are asked to avoid this area if possible. If alternate routes are not available, be prepared for shifting traffic patterns and possible delays. Motorists traveling through this area are asked to do so with extreme caution as workers will be present.
