BETTSVILLE, Ohio — A 79-year-old Fostoria man died Monday after he was struck by a car while crossing State Rt. 635 in Liberty Township.

Around 8:45 p.m. Kenneth Goshe was walking across Rt. 635 from west to east near Seneca County Road 592 when he was struck by a southbound vehicle being driven by Taylor Gerschutz, 22, of Alvada, Ohio, according to the Norwalk post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Mr. Goshe died at the scene. Ms. Gershutz was not injured. The incident remains under investigation.
