In a dramatic fallout from the fiery India-Pakistan encounters at the Asia Cup 2025, Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf has been slapped with a two-match suspension by the ICC, while India’s T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah were fined their match fees for their roles in the on-field scuffle.

The ICC confirmed Rauf’s suspension on Tuesday after a series of disciplinary hearings led by match referees Richie Richardson and Andy Pycroft.

The decision means the fiery pacer will miss Pakistan’s first two ODIs against South Africa on November 4 and 6.

According to the ICC, Rauf accumulated four demerit points within 24 months, triggering an automatic ban.
