BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- It’s been quite the bowling season for Petrides’ Kiara Lombardi.
Although her No. 1 seeded Panthers are still involved in the PSAL playoffs, she concluded the individual portion of her season by capturing the PSAL City Individuals last Saturday at Funfest Mill Basin Bowl.
The winner of the Staten Island Individuals for the third straight year last month, Lombardi rolled games of 267, 127 and a 227 on Saturday for a 612 series to avenge last season’s runner-up finish in the same event a year ago.
“It was certainly a great day!” lauded Petrides coach Bettyann Souffrin.
In addition to picking up her city individual medal, she was awarded the high game in the league this fall season with a 299 rolled against McKee/Staten Island Tech during the regular season.
