Skilled ex-Knicks center officially signs with lowly Western Conference squad

The New York Knicks ' front office added a few key bench pieces throughout the 2025 offseason, but that does not mean there weren't any impactful losses.

Though the franchise brought in key talents such as Guerschon Yabusele and Jordan Clarkson to revamp their bench unit, one of the team's more relied-upon role players from the 2024-25 season was essentially cast aside once he hit free agency.

Now, recent reports from ESPN's Shams Charania have revealed that New York's former backup big man, Precious Achiuwa, is set to join the Sacramento Kings and enter his sixth NBA campaign.
