HENDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WEVV) — We have learned the identity of a victim who passed away in a house fire in Henderson.

The fire happened at a home on Sunday night along Millcreek Drive near Villagebrook.

While two people were able to get out of the home and go to the hospital for treatment, a third person was found inside and pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities at the Coroner's Office have now identified the victim who passed away as 73-year-old Joseph Hein.

Hein's autopsy is being conducted Tuesday.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
