BENTON COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) -- Benton County officials have announced the Benton County Courthouse and County Administration Building will be lit up in green to raise awareness for challenges facing local veterans.

Operation Green Light is a national initiative of the National Association of Counties (NACo) to support military veterans by raising awareness on the unique obstacles they face and the resources that are available to them at the local, state, and federal levels.

“The Benton County Veteran Services Department is staffed entirely by veterans.
