PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) -- President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that the current administration will not be releasing SNAP benefits until the government is reopened, contradicting previous White House statements.

The announcement follows the Trump administration’s statement that it would cover 50% of November’s SNAP benefits using contingency funds, after a judge mandated the continuation of funding for the program.
