The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Tamil Nadu, coastal Andhra Pradesh and parts of Karnataka for November 4, predicting light to moderate rain in these regions. As per the weather agency, western states like Gujarat and Maharashtra will also receive light to moderate rain in the next few days this week.

According to the latest IMD bulletin, many parts of Tamil Nadu, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema regions are expected to witness light to moderate rain with thunderstorms from November 4 to 6. In coastal Karnataka and north interior Karnataka, light to moderate rainfall is expected during November 5-7.
