PHOENIX, Arizona — One person is dead after a crash Monday night in central Phoenix, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

DPS said the crash occurred at 10:43 p.m. in the northbound SR-51 transition ramp area.

The crash reportedly involved one vehicle. Two people were taken to the hospital, and one of those people later died.
