PHOENIX — A teen girl was taken to the hospital following a shooting reported Tuesday morning in north Phoenix.

At about 8:15 a.m., police officers responded to the area of 14th Street and Bell Road for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located a teen girl suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said her injuries appear to be non-life-threatening.

Phoenix police said the suspect in the shooting is a juvenile.

The suspect allegedly left the scene before officers arrived. Officers later found the suspect inside a charter school across the street.
