SALEM A 16-year-old Salem girl who was reported missing on Oct. 17 has been located and is safe, according to the Salem Police Department.
Nahvara Bradway was found safe sometime after police issued a public appeal for information on her whereabouts. The Salem Police Department did not immediately release details on when or where she was located but confirmed she was no longer considered missing.
Bradway had been reported as a runaway/missing juvenile after leaving home around 4 p.m. on Oct. 17 on her bicycle and failing to return, according to the original report filed with the department.
Police had followed up on potential locations she may have gone but were initially unsuccessful in finding her.
The department had asked the public for assistance in locating her.
