ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Historic Fairview Cemetery is hosting a Veterans Day celebration to honor the men and women who served in our armed forces. The celebration will be at the cemetery on November 8, beginning at 1 p.m.

The ceremony will be a tribute to service and sacrifice of veterans, including ones who rest at the cemetery. The event will include the Dukes of Albuquerque Band and a bagpiper that will be performing. Two local servicemen will speak on the event and talk about their military experience. There will also be a laying of wreaths at one of the military areas of the cemetery. Complimentary tea and water will be available for guests. For more information, click here.
