WHITEHOUSE, Ohio — An annual event is returning for another year to offer an inclusive shopping experience for everyone in the community during the holiday season.

"The holiday season is a time of joy and connection, but traditional shopping environments can present sensory challenges for many neurodiverse individuals," Bittersweet Farms said in a press release. "To foster a more inclusive and welcoming experience, Bittersweet Farms is proud to partner once again with Target for the 9th Annual Sensory Friendly Holiday Shopping event."

On Wednesday, Nov. 12, Target stores in Rossford and Holland will open an hour early with sensory accessibility in mind. Music will be turned off, foot traffic will be limited and store lighting will be softened, creating a more comfortable experience for
