EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The Vanderburgh Humane Society’s annual “Pet Pictures with Santa” event is set to return this weekend to Evansville.

According to a press release, this year marks the 39 th year for this holiday event.

Officials say pet pictures will take place at the Washington Square Mall in the food court.

They say all pets must be kept on a leash or in a carrier until the time of their photo.

For $30, participants will receive two digital pictures for their own use.

Officials say photos may include more than one animal. Kids and adults are also welcome in photos, with or without pets.

Costumes are welcome, and rental holiday accessories for pets are available free of charge.
