RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Twin toddlers had to receive medical aid after being exposed to fentanyl in Raleigh Monday night, leading to the arrests of their mother and another man, police said.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, officers responded around 8:14 p.m. to a report of an unresponsive child at an apartment in the 6000 block of Lake Hills Drive.
At the scene, according to Raleigh police, 22-month-old twins were found unresponsive. The twins were administered Narcan and taken to the hospital for further treatment. Their condition is considered stable as of late Tuesday morning.
During the incident, police said they developed probable cause to search the apartment. Inside, they located drugs, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm.
