Nearly 3.5 years after announcing plans to reinvent a Williamson County site with a mixed-use development, the team spearheading the project on Tuesday provided additional details — including a modification to the retail thrust and a new partner — regarding what will be called Sagefield.

According to a release, the Phoenix-based hospitality company Author & Edit Hospitality, by restaurateur Sam Fox, will operate a high-end hotel and various restaurants at the Thompson Station-area site.

Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group — the owner and operator of The Mall at Green Hills and Opry Mills, among similar properties nationwide — will partner with Nashville-based Adventurous Journeys (AJ) Capital Partners and Fox on Sagefield.
