MINNEAPOLIS — A Twin Cities man is charged with aggravated robbery after police say he walked up to two people filming a music video in a Minneapolis alley, pointed a gun at them and made off with jewelry and cash.
Prosecutors spell out the allegations against 20-year-old Dementrice Antonio Arnold Jr. in a criminal complaint charging him with both robbery and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
MPD squads were dispatched on October 18 to an alley off the 1800 block of Nicollet Ave. S. on reports of an armed robbery. Responding officers encountered the victim, a man who told them he and other person were shooting a music video in the alley when someone came up behind them and pointed a firearm with an extended magazine at his midsection.
