FARIBAULT, Minn. — A semi-truck driver accused of watching Netflix on his phone when he slammed into traffic and killed an Iowa couple in August 2023 pleaded not guilty Tuesday to all charges, according to court documents.

Billie Joe Grimes, 56, pleaded not guilty to two counts of criminal vehicular homicide and one count of criminal vehicular operation in connection with a deadly crash on Aug. 25, 2023, on Interstate 35, just south of Faribault. He is also calling for a jury trial, which has not been scheduled yet.
