The NFL trade deadline is off and running with some big trades, including CB Sauce Gardner going from the New York Jets to the Indianapolis Colts.

Shortly after the Gardner move, Cleveland announced that they’ve traded DE Joe Tryon-Shoyinka and a 7th-round pick to the Chicago Bears for a 2026 6th-round pick. Despite playing fairly well as of late, Tryon-Shoyinka hasn’t been able to find consistent playing time behind Alex Wright, Isaiah McGuire, or even Cameron Thomas.

Though he was originally supposed to have a legitimate role in 2025 for Cleveland, he’s only participated in 31 total defensive snaps and 58 special team snaps for the Browns in 8 games.

Andrew Berry and Co. also chose to keep Tryon-Shoyinka over Ogbo Okoronkwo in the offseason as well, releasing Ogbo back in June.
