The former Mt. Juliet IT Director and a technician, currently under a state investigation, were fired after an anonymous tip to the police department accused them of selling old city equipment and engaging in a sexual relationship during work hours.
"The City of Mt. Juliet recently conducted an internal investigation involving two employees within the Information Technology Department," Mt. Juliet Mayor James Maness confirmed last month.
