LEHI, Utah (ABC4) — A gas leak near Traverse Mountain Elementary School is requiring everyone within a quarter-mile radius to evacuate immediately.
According to Lehi City, all residents, students, and businesses must evacuate if they are within 0.25 miles of Traverse Mountain Elementary School. The post states that they must exit their homes.
For parents of students at the elementary school, students are being relocated to Eagle Summit Park at 5100 N 2600 W in Lehi. Children can be picked up at the park's reunification site, accessible by Frontage Road and Homestead Drive.
Lehi officials are asking everyone to avoid the area and the surrounding streets.
