(Cleveland)- The White County Emergency Management will conduct a countywide audible test of its Outdoor Warning Siren System on Wednesday, Nov. 5.

The test will be at 9:30 a.m. and sound for a full warning cycle, which is about three minutes.

The department reminded residents in a social media post that no action will be needed during the test.

The post said, “This statewide initiative with GEMA and the National Weather Service is a great reminder that North Georgia has a secondary severe weather season in November and December. Take this opportunity to review your family or workplace weather plan, check your NOAA Weather Radio, and make sure you’re signed up for CodeRED alerts.”
