Two men are dead and a third was wounded in two separate shootings on Detroit's east side Monday night, police said.
Both shootings remain under investigation.
In the first incident, the body of a man who died from gunshot wounds was found at about 10 p.m. Monday in the 3700 block of Ellery Street near Gratiot and Mack avenues, according to authorities.
Detroit Police Department officials said they had no further information to release Tuesday.
Police said the second incident happened at about 11:41 p.m. in the 19400 block of Yonka Street near Ryan Road and East Outer Drive.
According to a preliminary investigation, two men were shot by an unknown suspect during an altercation.
