Noteworthy : The Spartans dynamic senior Vani Tatoulian took care of business in the Spartans’ CIF Southern Section Division 4 semifinals against Dana Hills. Tatoulian finished with 21 kills on 30 attempts to lead them to a four-set victory, 25-13, 25-20, 19-25 and 25-18 in the fourth set. In the Spartans’ quarterfinal sweep over Marlborough, Tatoulian shared game-high kills honors with junior Maya Purdy with 11 apiece. Taoulian, Purdy and junior Luella Lewis have been the catalysts all season as they hope to win the Division 4 championship on Thursday, when they travel to take on Ventura High School at 6 p.m., in the title match.
