A popular Calgary restaurant has been forced to close its doors temporarily after a fire damaged the premises.

Bridgette Bar, a beloved Calgary spot owned by Concorde Entertainment Group, shared on Tuesday, Nov. 4, that it will be temporarily closed for repairs due to a small fire.

According to Alex Kwan, public information officer for the Calgary Fire Department (CFD), fire crews responded to a call at around 1:40 a.m. regarding a building fire at the 700 block of 10th Avenue SW.
