LOUSIANA (KTAL/KMSS) – Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) has announced a donation of $500,000 to local food banks across Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.

This philanthropic move aims to address the rising food insecurity faced by communities surrounding its stores.

The company says the donation underscores BGC's long-standing commitment to hunger relief initiatives in its market area. "Our company was founded on the core value of serving our communities, and that commitment remains strong today,” stated Brad Brookshire, Chairman and CEO of BGC.
