PORTLAND, Ore. — Surveillance video released during a federal trial shows multiple confrontations between federal agents and protesters outside Portland's Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility, with plaintiffs describing the actions as excessive force and the government arguing agents were responding to violence.
During a three-day federal trial, attorneys for both the U.S. government and the state of Oregon introduced more than 750 exhibits of evidence, including video released by the Oregon Department of Justice, as first reported by the Oregonian.
The footage comes from surveillance cameras outside the ICE facility in South Portland.
