LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville man won $250,000 on a $10 Kentucky Lottery Wild Cash 100X scratch-off during his weekly Lottery games.

According to a news release, the man, who wished to remain anonymous, finished his day at work and stopped at the Circle K at 5035 Mud Lane to purchase a ticket.

He scanned the ticket in the store and went into "full panic mode," he said. The man had matched the number 33 on the top row to win the top prize of $250,000.

He said he wanted a second opinion and immediately went home to tell his wife. Once she confirmed the prize, she said they immediately started jumping up and down from excitement.

The couple's minds started racing about what to do next, and they decided that they didn't want to hold onto the ticket all weekend.
