(NewsNation) — Katy Perry announced her new single “bandaids” on Tuesday.
The cover for her new song shows a somber-looking Perry with scratches and bruises on her forehead, cheek, lip and nose.
The single’s announcement comes a month before Perry’s “Lifetimes” tour comes to an end, according to Billboard.
There has been no word if the new song is part of an upcoming album or a one-off single.
In September 2024, Perry released “143,” her seventh studio album. The album debuted at No. 6 on Billboard 200. It was accompanied by the single “Woman’s World,” which peaked at No. 36 on the Billboard Hot 100. • This combo of file photos shows, popstar Katy Perry, left, at Madison Square Garden, Dec. 13, 2024, in New York, and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during a news confere
