SPRINGFIELD, Mo -- The Springfield-Branson National Airport showed some progress it's making on it's construction projects, and mentioned plans to build a parking garage.

As the calendar turned over to November, SGF posted an update that work is underway on it's short-term parking lot. The goal is to add 255 parking spaces to the lot, as officials say it is currently at capacity nearly every week.

It's estimated to cost $2 million and should be complete by spring of 2026, along with updated landscaping. The airport released the image below on its Facebook page:
