A beloved Gavin and Stacey star has issued a long-awaited health update. ‌

The actor is finally getting back on her feet after a horrific tumble in March left her confined to a wheelchair. 79-year-old Gavin and Stacey favourite Alison Steadman was in Dubai this January when she tripped on uneven concrete paving outside a restaurant, which shattered a metatarsal bone in her foot and fractured her hand. ‌
