A man was fatally shot in Central City on Tuesday afternoon, New Orleans police said.

Police found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound to his body at the intersection of Willow Street and Jackson Avenue at around 2:50 p.m. New Orleans EMS pronounced him dead on the scene.
