WASHINGTON — A rally and a protest are expected to take place tomorrow and road closures and parking restrictions are expected on Wednesday, Nov. 5.
From 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Maryland Avenue from Independence Avenue to 3rd Street, SW will be marked for emergency parking only.
From 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Constitution Avenue from 15th Street to 6th Street, NW will also be marked for emergencies and no parking.
From 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. the following streets will be closed:
Constitution Avenue from 15th Street, NW to First Street, NE
East Capitol Street from First Street to 5th Street, NE
5th Street from East Capitol Street to C Street, NE
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, they do not anticipate additional street closures, however, there is the potential for intermittent clo
