Alexander Volkanovski continues to live his best life – and Jelly Roll continues to be one of the biggest celebrity UFC fans.
On Monday, the two united forces in an arena they've both performed: Qudos Bank Arena.
"Today I got to find out that a man I'm a fan of happens to know who my fat ass is," Jelly Roll told fans at his "Down Under 2025" concert. "You ever just reach out to somebody you're a fan of on Instagram like, 'F*ck it. I'll try'? I sent this man a message and I said, 'I just want you to know, I think you are one of the greatest fighters of our generation. I think you are truly one of the greatest to ever do it. You are truly a GOAT, and I know Australia loves you when you come walking out to that 'Man Down Under.'' I want to bring out my brother, the motherf*cking champion, Alexander Volkanovski."
Jelly Roll then asked Volkanovski to join him in singing his hit song "Need a Favor."
"Volk, I know you're a fighter and I'm a singer," Jelly Roll said. "I'm not a good fighter, but I heard you're not a bad singer.
Volkanovski responded, "I don't know if I'm good, but I don't mind giving it a crack."
Give it a crack he did.
Jelly Roll has long been a massive combat sports fan. He's frequently attended UFC events in person and has done some training with UFC lightweight Terrance McKinney. Jelly Roll has also worked with MMA-centric nutrition coach Ian Larios on his weight loss journey and recently called the UFC's plans to hold a show at the White House "awesome."
