COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)-It’s feeling more like early fall than November this week, with temperatures climbing into the mid-70s today and expected to rise even higher as we head into the weekend. By Saturday, many spots could be pushing the upper 70s to near 80 degrees — a stretch of unseasonably warm weather for this time of year.
But don’t get too comfortable — a strong cold front is on the way this weekend. The front will bring a few showers and possibly a couple of thunderstorms late Friday through early Saturday morning, before the cold front exits Sunday. Once it moves through, temperatures will take a sharp tumble.
Behind the front, much colder air settles in to start next week. Lows will drop into the 30s by Monday morning, setting the stage for our first widespread frost of the seas
