GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Green Bay is known for being big in the sports world, with teams like the Packers, Gamblers hockey, and the Phoenix men's and women's basketball teams. Soon, the city could be adding soccer to this list of teams that play here in Titletown, but some things will need to happen before that can start, including building a new stadium.

"We are not really talking sites at this point, I think we will have time for that down the line, but 4-6 acres is what they are going to need, and we would love to have them in downtown," says Green Bay Mayor Eric Genrich.

The United Soccer League, or USL, has some guidelines on what a potential host city would need to do to accommodate bringing in a soccer team.
