BLOOMINGTON-NORMAL ( 25News Now ) - With SNAP funding uncertain for many families, Connect Transit is rolling out a new initiative to help Bloomington-Normal residents access local food banks.
The image below is a map showing nine food banks attached to four different bus routes that are designed to connect riders to vital resources.

Blue Line:
Oasis Community Outreach (1380 E Empire St., Bloomington): Tuesdays & Saturdays, 9:30-11:30 a.m. (Stop: Towanda Ave & Towanda Service Rd)
Saint Vincent de Paul Food Pantry (705 N Roosevelt Ave, Bloomington): Mondays, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (Stop: Phoenix Towers)
Lime Route:
Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church (801 W Market St, Bloomington): Wednesdays, 4:30-6
