A UPS plane with three crew members onboard was reported to have crashed in Louisville, Kentucky, and injuries were reported, officials said Tuesday.

The location of the reported crash was at the intersection of Fern Valley Road and Grade Lane, which is at the southern edge of the airport.

"UPS Flight 2976 crashed around 5:15 p.m. local time on Tuesday, Nov. 4, after departing from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport in Kentucky. The McDonnell Douglas MD-11 was headed to Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu," The Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement.
