An injured college basketball player was removed from the court in a less-than-conventional manner following an injury in a season-opening game on Monday.

Players are typically helped off the floor whenever they go down; this much is normal. However, getting dragged off after a cramp is probably not something you see occurring… like ever.

Well, we aren’t here by accident, so it must have happened, right?

That was exactly the case during Division II Hawaii Pacific’s upset of Boise State on Monday, with both teams taking to the floor for their opener.

Boise State came into the game as 21-point favorites but ended up on the wrong end of the marginal 79-78 result.
