Four bands are gearing up for a night of full-on rock to help struggling families put food on the table.
The Rock Against Hunger event in support of the Sudbury Food Bank and will be held at Cousin Vinny’s in Hanmer on Nov. 22.
The show will feature local artists Elephantshoes, Station Radio, dadbOdd and the everyman and The Blackwood Sinners.
“It’s going to be an epic night of rock’n’roll,” said organizer Mike Lavigne. “It’s a fun way to raise some money for our community members that are having a hard go and put some food on the table.”
Lavigne encouraged the community to “help us make this event a success and help fill some bellies.”
The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 at the door, or $10 with two food items. All proceeds from the event will go to the Sudbury Food Bank.
