Why Trae Young isn't playing tonight for Hawks vs. Magic with injury news

The Atlanta Hawks get an opportunity Tuesday night to play on a national broadcast.

Just one problem: Trae Young will be hanging out on the sideline.

When the Hawks take on the Magic , the star point guard won't be out there.

Trae Young isn't playing tonight because of an injury he sustained on Wednesday, Oct. 29 against the Brooklyn Nets .

An MRI revealed he has a sprained MCL in his right knee, the Hawks announced.

Atlanta had already shared that Young's ACL is entirely intact.
